Dr. Biggs is dedicated to helping patients find lasting relief from TMJ disorders and orofacial pain. With more than 35 years of experience and a compassionate, patient-centered approach, he has helped countless individuals restore their comfort, function, and quality of life. Dr. Biggs has completed extensive advanced training focused on conservative TMJ treatment and served as a subject matter expert during his time practicing dentistry in the Army, further strengthening his expertise in diagnosing and treating complex TMJ conditions.

OUR DENTISTS
Dr. Alan Adkins
Dr. Alan Adkins, a native of Pensacola, completed his undergraduate studies at Pensacola Junior College and the University of West Florida. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Case Western Reserve University and was honored as a Thomas Hinman scholar.
Dr. Adkins is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association.
In his free time, he enjoys college football, fishing, and music with his wife, Debbie.
Dr. Walter "Beau" Biggs
Dr. Walter F. (Beau) Biggs, DMD, joined Adkins Dental in 2014 after owning a practice in Pensacola for years and serving as a civilian dentist in the U.S. Army. With a keen interest in implants, he has published articles in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and is a visiting faculty member at the Pankey Institute.
A lifelong Pensacolian, Dr. Biggs grew up across the street from Dr. Adkins and is deeply rooted in the community.
He is married to Shay and they have a son, a daughter, and three grandchildren.
